“May is Tennis Month” Events in Our COTA Communities
Celebrating “May is Tennis Month” with the East Athens Inner City Tennis Club on May 20, 2023
Celebrating “May is Tennis Month” with the Oglethorpe County Library and the Recreation Department in May 2023.
Tennis Play Days
COTA sponsors Tennis Play Days to encourage younger kids to play tennis. They typically include on- court activities, food and prizes. These events have occurred in Clarke, Madison and Morgan counties.
Tennis Support for Schools
COTA provides curriculum and equipment to elementary teachers who want to include tennis in their PE or enrichment classes. Schools that have benefitted from COTA’s support include Clarke County Elementary Schools, Madison County Elementary Schools and Morgan County Elementary Schools. In addition, COTA provides financial support to high school tennis programs.

Tennis and Special Populations
Several COTA players joined the UGA Aces for Athens program to help put on a Special Olympics Clinic at Bishop Park. The kids and volunteers had a fabulous time. Thanks to those who came out!
